Our Core Team

Get to know the wonderful team who make Skin Solace a home for healing.
These are the faces you’ll see on a regular basis…the people who keep things running smoothly.

Louise King
Co-Founder & Director

  • “Tomorrow is a new day.”

Shortly after beginning her Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW) journey back in 2018, Louise was left bed-bound for many months, forcing her to press pause on her career in IT and Clinical Data Analysis.

After hearing about a clinic in Singapore that was successfully treating Topical Steroid Withdrawal patients with a safe and effective therapy, Louise uprooted her life and moved abroad for three months in a bid to heal her skin.

As soon as she had experienced for herself the life-changing effects of the Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP treatment, Louise knew she wanted to bring it to the UK to make it more accessible to others worldwide.

Yeo Jing Rui
Co-Founder & Director

  • “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.”

Jing, whose background is in Social Work and Counselling, first started going through TSW back in 2011 having used Topical Steroid creams since birth.

After years of trying countless remedies and promised cures, she finally discovered the Ultra-Pulse Contact CAP therapy which kickstarted her on the path of healing – of which she is now in the final stages after ten long years.

Like Louise, Jing was in awe of the treatment’s transformational effects and made it her mission to help alleviate the suffering of others, so the duo teamed up to make the dream a reality.

Tracy Hull
Admin Support/PA

  • “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful destinations.”

Tracy is our clinic administrator who helps things run smoothly in the office. She has a wide range of experience in both administrative roles and as a support worker for charitable organisations. She has a keen interest in natural skincare and believes in holistic treatments, like CAP, that encourage the body to heal itself.

Having been through some difficult medical conditions herself, Tracy knows how important it is to receive kindness and feel cared for whilst going through treatment, which is why she loves being part of a kind and empathetic team who work together to help heal and change the lives of others.

Emma Vernon

  • "Sometimes it takes only one act of kindness and caring to change a person's life"

Emma has been a Registered Nurse for over 20 years and specialised in Wound and Stoma Care for  12 years. She has worked in Australia and the UK in both hospital and community settings. She has published 2 articles and a chapter for a book on Stoma Care.

Gabrielle has a calming and soothing presence which puts patients at ease. She enjoys accompanying patients on their recovery journey and the best part is seeing them regain the sparkle in their eyes!
